![]() ![]() ![]() Please keep in mind closed back headphones have more bass, but tend to also be less "directional" and are less useful for gaming. The PC37x is a closed back and sounds less spacious, however it blocks outside sounds much better and doesn't leak as much. ![]() The PC38x is an open back and will sound very "spacious and grand", but will not block outside sounds and will leak sound. The only headsets that I think will fit your criteria well enough are the "PC38x" and "PC37x" headsets made by Sennheiser in collaboration with DROP. I consider myself a bit of an amateur audiophile, and I can confirm that most gaming headsets absolutely suck. The DT770's (250ohm, I know lol, realized my mistake) were also in combination with an amp which didn't greatly improve my experience and now I'm just lost, a cheap one at that but still the inconvenience of sourcing a different mic put me off the idea, I'm just looking for a Headset that has some heavy bass, good mic quality and doesn't cost over 200/300 pound, and also wireless if that's possible, my next move is probably going to be the HyperX Cloud alphas, wireless.Īnother point would be I had some Razer Krakens when they first came out and the bass they could put out is something I'm looking for but this time with clearer Mids and Highs.Īny suggestions would be a massive help, Thank you! So Far I've been through the razer blackshark pros v2, were very tinny and underwhelming even with EQ software, the kraken V3 hypersenses started crackling after about a week through the audio, The beyerdynamic DT770's, and now I've went with the Steelseries 7+ which again are very quiet and not very punchy, quality of the mic is awesome though. Hello everyone, I really need some advice right now because I losing my mind going through different headsets and sending them back because they are just not worth the price they are, the audio quality is terrible/tinny.
